Quote: took the time to look at the story a week a go. I didn't respond b/c lack of time on my part and most impartant. I thought it was good.
Glad you like it.
Part Six is close to done, but not close enough for the February 3rd release. As always, I'll let everyone know when it's being sent to the beta crew and slated.

I'm feeling pretty confident on this one, because I only have one scene left to finish, and will probably do so later today:
I'm slating Enlightenment, Part Six for release on March 3, 2015.
Betas should get to see it before the end of the week.

Not really a story update, but I had to put this somewhere.
I'm having some computer problems; I'm obviously not completely cut off, but I have to use either my Mom's computer or my iPhone. I'm typing this message on the latter, and truth to tell it's kind of a pain in the ass compared to using a real keyboard.
I'll let everyone know when the issue's resolved.

Not completely sure it's resolved, but I've managed to get a workaround for now--this post is from my desktop. So there's definitely room to hope.

Golly...no updates on this thread since last year? It's not like I haven't done stories since then...
I just had Ogre read the next installment of "Love Songs". I will be sending the beta url out to the beta readers tomorrow morning. I'm hoping for a release on June 8th.

I just sent a beta to the usual suspects. The story is tentatively scheduled for September 20th.
I'm not even going to tell you the title yet, because it gives a bit part of the story away.

Been a while, I know. I'd gotten some of the next chapter of "Love Songs" done when October and November emotionally bombed me with events on both the personal and meta scales. Writing silly stories about silly imaginary people doing silly imaginary things just didn't seem worth doing for a while.
I think I'm more or less over it, and have just sent "Love Songs--Magic" the next part of Ray and Liz's story, to the usual beta suspects. I plan to release it as part of the Ectozone's anniversary in May, unless I get something else done for that and can get "Love Songs" out sooner. But knowing my work habits the last several years, I admit it's unlikely.
Next up should be the next chapter of "Coda and Terchi's Extreme Adventure", which should feature a fair amount less of people just sitting around and talking.
Thanks everybody for their patience.

Gah...this morning a lightning strike near our house toasted some of our electronics. My computer and our internet system were among th casualties.
I'm typing this on a tablet at a bookstore with free wi-fi; the Internet will be back lat today, hopefully, but no estimate on the computer. I scrupulously back up all of my files, so I don't think I've lost anything.
Thanks as always for your patience.

I have a new computer on the way, and it could be here as soon as tomorrow. I've got the use of my Dad's laptop, which is filling some of the gap, in the meantime.

New computer is up and running. I was a little scared last night, it was going so slow in comparison to the one that got fried, but this morning, now that it's gotten up and running, it seems to be doing great.

"Coda and Terchi's Extreme Adventure" Part Two is done. It should be sent to the beta readers within a couple days (Ogre hasn't seen it yet), and I'm slating it for release December 5th.
I may still get "Love Songs--Inspiration" out before the end of the year, but based on my past history, take that with a wheelbarrow of salt.

Boy oh boy was that estimate over-optimistic. I even blew a hoped-for Valentine's Day release.
Anyway, "Love Songs--Inspiration" (the fifth part of the story) is done. I'll probably send the beta link out tomorrow; it depends in part on how quick I can get Ogre to read the last couple scenes.
I'm pencilling it in for March 27th, 2018.

Extreme Ghostbusters: Coda And Terchi's Extreme Adventure, Part Three is done.
I had a self-imposed deadline of May 13 (the Ectozone 15th anniversary) in mind for this one, and I actually pulled it off. It means the betas are only getting a five day review period, but I hope it will be okay.
Aforementioned betas should get the link tomorrow.

"Love Songs--Blessed" is finished. It will be the final chapter of that story.
It took longer than I anticipated (I know, I say that a lot), but I should have the betas out tomorrow or Wednesday; Ogre hasn't seen it yet.
I'm slating it for release on Tuesday, September 25th.
