The cover of 133 looks pretty nice. But another swipe of A Christmas Carol? Grife on a pony, the Ghostbusters had already done that one themselves. First season. But 134...oh my... Slimer's Uncle ... ... ((shakes head ruefully)) Quote: BLOOPER: “Busted Promise!” Page 14 – Egon’s hair is red. Not only that, but they gave him Venkman's jumpsuit and haircut...

Slimer's uncle actually first appeared back in #13. And thanks for catching that goof. Dunno how I did that...

Quote: BLOOPER: “Budgerig-ARGH!” The Cat Home is located in Beverly Hills, which is an area of California. The caption shows that the Ghostbusters arrived there soon after being called, which would be impossible as according to Mapquest the firehouse in the comic world is 2810 miles away and over 41 hours by car to Beverly Hills. Not the first, and probably not the last, time the Marvel UK writers assume kids are too stupid to know the difference. Beverly Hills would be a better case for a Los Angeles office of GBI, wouldn't it?

You might have noticed Wednesday came and went without a new update. That's because after updating our Java, which is needed to run our site program, we've been having some problems with it. And, unfortunately, Atomic Media is busy preparing for the NY Comicon in 2 weeks so we're not able to dedicate our full attention to the problem. But no worries; NYGBC will be back soon enough!

Cool to see this back, ECTO. I have to rhetorically wonder if the "Frightful Four" (Not to be confused with the Marvel characters, of course ) in #118 were inspired by the Classic Monster figures Kenner released in 1989. The four monsters are kind of, pardon the phrase, Universal...but the colors on the cover, anyway, more or less match the Kenner figures even if the faces aren't exactly the same (and three of them are wearing knockoff Ghostbuster flight suits)

Entirely possible. In upcoming issues, you'll see a LOT of action-figure inspired images. Actually, you've already seen one in the form of Ecto-2; rather than being based on the animated series design, they went with the toy design.
