I imagine many franchises that decide to purchase a replivehicle might keep their old cars around as a backup in case of either breakdowns, suddenly needing a backup team on a tough job, or because they're doing well enough financially to start fielding multiple teams (like the LA office started out).
Good example: Franchise (insert location here) can't get a '59 Caddy when they start out, so they use an SUV of some type for their Ecto. When the replivehicles become available, they purchase one to be their new primary vehicle, but keep the SUV around as a backup.
Speaking of which, will the West Coast team swap out the Ecto-1N with a replivehicle for no cosmetic change, or will they retire the Ecto-WC to bring their team more in line with the GBI "look"?
